I am super excited to share this story with you! Cthulhu vs. Uncle Sam #3 is chock full of slam-bang comic book action just the way you like it! When a government experiment to create a new super-soldier goes awry, Uncle Sam must save America from the spawn of Cthulhu!
I'll tell you all about the Cthulhu vs Uncle Sam #1-2 anniversary cover campaign in a moment, but first I wanted to talk a little bit more about issue #3!
Here's the big update: the script for issue #3 is complete, and the first page is in the process of being drawn right now!
As teased back at the end of issue #2, this issue is called "The Brides of Cthulhu." And we've already got one cover done for it -- the Crimebuster Comics 5th Anniversary cover by Samir Simao!
The original art!
Samir really knocked it out of the park with these covers, I absolutely love them! And I hope you do to, as Samir will also be providing the original art for issue #3 as well!
Now, I don't yet have an idea of when issue #3 will be done, or when the Kickstarter campaign will launch, but my hope is to have it ready for everyone some time this year. 🤗🤞
While we work on issue #3, though, I've also brought issues #1 and #2 back to Kickstarter. And I want to give you guys the first shot at Samir's awesome original art! Yes, Samir actually works in the old school traditional method of pen on paper, meaning that I have the one-of-a-kind original art for these covers available as add-ons. But once they're gone, they're gone, so if you want one of these 8x11 pieces of art, you'll want to get it quick!
And the variant covers are also limited, as there will only be 100 copies of each printed.
Yes, to celebrate five years of making comics, I'm re-issuing Cthulhu vs. Uncle Sam #1-2 with brand new 5th Anniversary covers by Brazilian superstar artist Samir Simao, which will each have a print run limited to just 100 copies! Check it out!
I'm also really excited to say that these covers were actually hand drawn, meaning that I will have the one-of-a-kind original art available for both issues as add-ons!
And additionally, I will also be offering sketch covers where I will hand draw a custom Cthulhu vs. Uncle Sam cover for you on a blank copy of Cthulhu vs. Uncle Sam #1! Here's an example of one I did earlier this year:
