Hello, heroes! Big news: Uncle Sam is back in a new Lovecraftian murder mystery -- and you can get it now!
Almost 12 years after the end of the war, student sleuths Chuck Chandler and Trixie Trouble search for answers to the question: "Whatever Happened to Uncle Sam?"
To solve the mystery, they must investigate the cursed paintings of the mad artist Richard Upton Pickman with the help of some very special guest stars: The Hardy Boys!
Plus, this issue features a special limited edition variant cover by none other than Jay Piscopo, artist for Cthulhu vs. Uncle Sam #1-2! This cover is limited to just 100 copies and features the numbering and logo from the Golden Age comic series Boy Comics!
This spooky adventure is like Lovecraft meets Scooby-Doo, and it's packed with some of your favorite public domain characters, including a cameo from Granny Gumshoe and Jake the Dog that you won't want to miss! Hello, fellow adventurers!
I've got some big news for you today: Uncle Sam returns in January for an all-new Lovecraftian murder mystery in the pages of The Crimebusters #6!
You asked me for more stories branching out into the world of Lovecraft, and I listened! 12 years after the end of World War II, student sleuths Chuck Chandler and Trixie Trouble investigate the cursed paintings of the mad artist Richard Upton Pickman! But to find the secret of the paintings, first they have to answer the question: "Whatever happened to Uncle Sam?"
And did I mention that there's a special variant cover by Jay Piscopo, who drew Cthulhu vs. Uncle Sam #1 and #2?!
Plus there's a couple of fun guest stars in this issue as well: Joe and Frank Hardy! Yes, the original mystery boys make a special guest appearance, as the Hardy brothers are now in the public domain. And since they started the whole amateur detective genre that The Crimebusters pays loving homage to, I'm super excited to be able to pay tribute by having them make a small guest appearance here that I hope you'll all really dig! 🤗

This variant Tony Moore's classic cover of The Walking Dead #19, which features the first appearance of Michonne. As you've no doubt noticed from the other covers for Quest #2, this issue has a fight between the paladin Vhess and a creature from beyond the grave, so it was a no brainer (no pun intended!) to homage this great cover featuring another badass warrior woman with a sword taking on zombies!

Quest is my love letter to "Dungeons & Dragons," "Lord of the Rings," and the classic swords and sorcery comics I loved as a kid, like "Conan the Barbarian" and "The Warlord."
Two hundred years after their world was devastated by a magical war, the heroes of a new age seek to recover the forgotten legacies of their lost home. Thrown together by fate, this ragtag band of adventurers are charged with an impossible mission: survive a thousand miles of haunted dungeons, bizarre monsters, ruined castles, and magical traps -- or see their world die!
There are also a bunch of really great limited edition variant covers available for both issues. In particular I wanted to highlight the Tabletop RPG Editions. These feature covers homging classic D&D modules, but in addition, they also each include 8+ pages of bonus gaming supplement material so that you can play through the story from the comic in your own home game!
There are also other matching sets of variant covers for classic fantasy fans like you. For instance, there's a set of covers homaging the TSR Endless Quest books from the early 80s, and another set of Classic Throwback covers designed to look like Bronze Age fantasy comics from the 70s!
